Work in Situ and a Thank You

Work in Situ and a Thank You

It's taken me some time to get used to the fact that once a piece of work has been sold and delivered to the customer, either directly or via a gallery you will no longer know what happens to it. So when someone takes the time to reach out to you and especially then sends you a photograph of where the work will live, it can be very heart warming. I have been lucky that this has happened numerous times of the last couple of years and especially when a client who bought my work from Newark Art Gallery reached out and sent me photos of the work in situ.

It looks so perfect against that beautiful green don't you think?

I was also really excited to see how a customer had used a whole selection of my greetings cards to create work for their amazing home in Gloucestershire earlier this year. I never thought of this and think it looks amazing!

And finally, I was able to sneak a quick visit to Kitchen and Coffee in Grantham last weekend to see my work there as part of the Union Street Gallery "Grantham as a Gallery" project.

It's wonderful to have such a public space to exhibit in, though seeing work in people's homes is still the most heart warming.

So a big Thank You to everyone who has reached out over time and to any of you who send images of work you have bought to the artists who made them. It means such a lot!
