I am an artist and illustrator exploring visual and emotional responses to locations, objects and loved ones.

I often create collections based around a theme or a story. I also tell tall tales inspired by my love of folk lore, country lore and the stories handed down in families.

For these I create characters and the worlds they inhabit in the form of books, museums, maps and anything else that takes my fancy (especially if it’s that kind of curious object you might find in a tiny shop, tucked down a cobbled street and run by a frantic old maid with a hip flask and terrier named Kipper).

Whether illustrated poems in hand bound books, limited edition prints or originals all my work is based on what I see, know and imagine. As such some of what I share is true, some not and that is for me alone to know the truth of.
