Stitch books, textile memory keepers and much more are possible with the three different ways to cut and ‘bind’ a fabric book demonstrated in this class. Ideal for both hand or machine sewers and suitable for all levels of stitch experience including complete beginners, you will go on to make a 6 ‘page’ blank, fabric book to take away and fill with stitch samples, ‘too good to chuck’ scraps, appliqued pictures and more.  No sewing experience required. The class involves hand stitching only but can be adapted for the machine.

Suitable for all skill levels and people aged 16+ (or 14+ if accompanied by an adult).

Booking is essential as the workshops requires a minimum of 2 people to go ahead. Any questions please use the contact form to ask.

This class takes place from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday 7th June at Union Street Gallery and Art Hub, Union Street, Grantham NG31 6NZ and is part of the PollyWhistle Textile Treats programme of workshops featuring a wide range of fabric-based projects and tutorials.
