My Mother's Vases is an ongoing project with small and large pieces created to celebrate the weekly flower arrangements my mother made and displayed in her beloved collection of vases. Influenced by my 1970's childhood and her German aesthetics, the work aims to illustrate the joy of simple things. The materials and techniques rare influenced by the layering of complex emotions felt for a passed loved one, especially when remembered through the use of the objects they held dear.
